The Alchemist written by Paulo Coelho, For everyone who believes in following their dreams.

About four to five years ago I met a Brazilian lady in my local sports centre she was on holiday visiting friends. We stuck up a conversation and spoke about the good old British weather and she spoke about her family and other countries she had visited. She was reading a book called Brida written by Paulo Coelho. Her copy was in Spanish so she suggested that I may like another of his books called the Alchemist. I thanked her and said if I got the opportunity I would read the book. A few days later out of the blue a friend rang and said she had been passing a book shop and had seen a book I might be interested in and had brought it because it had literately jumped out at her. I said it would happen to be the Alchemist by Paulo Cohelo yes she said have you already read it. I replied I hadn’t but was looking forward to reading it.

On receiving the book I was immediately drawn to it the simple story of a Shepard boy who lives and works with the sheep he uses books as pillows and dreams like every one of travel and a better life. One night he has a dream about a journey to find the Alchemist and to learn to the skills to make gold. The boys dream is so strong and real that he sets off on a long journey and it’s a story about self discovery and the people he meets along the way.

I read the whole book in a day and then I read it again just because I was so drawn to it. The book has sold over 65 million copies and is written in several languages. The book

Is it a good read yes excellent? I enjoyed his books so much that I now have every book the author had written in English. One of my favourites is Veronica decides to die. Later this year or perhaps early next year they are making a film of it.

Earlier last year I finally got to read Brida as he had it translated into English. The same book that the Brazilian lady had in her bag.

Going back to the Alchemist I found that over the next few years I would meet people who I would recognise as characters from the book., of course they did not have the same names or jobs but they did seem to have the same attitudes.

Ok so whets the Alchemist got to do with me and Synchronicity to me it woke me up to the possibility of all things. That we all have to have a dream to work to and once we get near to the dream to expanded it and make it bigger. I know I don’t want to be the Glass merchant who ever year talks about saving his money and going to Mecca. Dreams are meant to move to change to grow not to stagnate and become a dim light. Like the Shepard boy in the Alchemist I too had a dream that I would come to New Zealand at the time I did not know if it was to be a holiday or to live. I had a job a home and family. I was not in a position just to leave or seriously at the time did I actually think it would come off.

The dreams continued and I watch for signs for coincidences. And slowly over a period of 6 to 18 months I left my home a journeyed to another county to a new town that I knew nothing about because I believed in Synchronicity. I did not want to be the glass merchant I had spent too many years talking about doing something and wanting something that even if long term I find out its not for me at least I have taken the dream expanded it and make it grow.

Now to be honest it’s not been an easy journey and its not all milk and honey. I am human and I have to pay bills and live and to be honest I am not looking for the Alchemist. What I am trying to do is share with others that I could have stayed at home spent some money on a decent car and perhaps some new furniture and paid off a few bills but in my heart I would have always wondered what if.

I have been told that to be in a routine you have to do it for at least 3 weeks that’s the same journey back and forth to work or school visit the same shops and supermarkets clean, wash and cook etc. I can honestly say that my desire to find the Alchemist is as strong as ever not for the gold but for the dream and for the journey to keep expanding my dreams maybe not is such big ways all the time but not to get in a rut or a long term routine ro explore all the options to seek out new ideas visions and thoughts not only mine but others too.To keep learning to teach and to grow.

So a very big thank you to the Brazilian Lady who took the time to share her book with me and also to everyone else who has helped makes my journey interesting exiting and safe. Also thank you to Paulo for his amazing insights to let us all be dreamers.

Please keep writing your wonderful books and stories you reach so many souls.

A Reason a Season or a life time.

Nearly all my posts or blog entries come directly from my connection with the spirit world. I can be in the shower in bed at work or just passing a place or biding time, often when I am in my car waiting to pick up a friend from a night out. A thought and idea will hit me and I end up grabbing bits of paper writing down a snip here a name there.

Saying this has lead me to my next post

A reason a season a life time.

I am sure probably half the world population have had the email that talks about how people can come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a life time. The thought or idea being able to connect with us as part of our own development, an experience, or even, to learn something about ourselves and others.

Yes I have met lots of people for a reason probably I meet more than the average person but then again people are drawn to me to help them or assist them on their own pathway.

I try not to tell people what to do rather suggest or assist them. The Reason and here we go again is that each of us is on our own spiritual journey what ever religion or belief we are drawn too.

I respect that I am not asking them to prove to me that their God is the only god that there beliefs are any less important than mine and their view of heaven is any different to mine so I don’t like it personally because to many this type of work has to have disclaimers because some may take advantage of others..

Yet as a Medium who also believes in a God presence and that Jesus was a good man along with Buddha, Mohammad and all the other religious groups who in turn believe that may they have the answers I dont. Yet they as a group, the churches don’t have to put up disclaimers for entertainment purposes if people seek spiritual guidance. Miracles happen they can’t always be proven with a scientific test.

I can’t give lottery numbers or claim medical cures or provide legal advise people train for that and thats their proffession. I have an understanding of how things may be but again the future is yet to be written and each of us has our own free will.

I will try to explain how I see things but again like with any conversation that you have its down to the individual to take from it what it considers important personal to them and not general that is what I try to do with all my reading give some proof that the information I have will make sense to the party I am with.

I don’t trick people nor do I make things up I give what I am given sometime in a raw state because again that’s how its presented and to change it would make it un true or not the character or nature of someone. Ok yes sometimes the language may have to be made suitable for certain ears and out of respect for others.

So here again is another insight of me. So people meet are for a reason because I am drawn to them or they are drawn to me those of you who read my posts will also feel that. The many people over the years that have come to me for reading again knows that I try to give them hope understanding and comfort.

Some people over the years I have know for longer than a reason we have become friends and I have had contact with them for a Season knowing that I help them move on and accept and take back there power and own their own control. Some know that I was there more for the season and a partly because of the reason.

Lastly a life time now that’s a really long time and hopefully there are a few really true good friends who will be there for a live time for those I am truly grateful because they accept me for myself and some know about my gifts and others don’t sometimes being a medium its nice just to be myself and not on call. So thank you to them also.

Now my final point of this post is the Reason after being given the title I was asked to set up a post which I will be calling the Message Board. I will try to keep it up dated with messages that Spirit has asked me to pass on. Usually when I do a reading I don’t always know what the person looks like or sound like some book them over the internet and I arrange a time a place to see them.

When a person makes the choice to contact me it’s for the REASON. A lot of the time I may get information passed on to me and I make notes on bits of paper then when the person turns up I already have information on different things I have been asked to pass on. It’s like a beacon quick at last they are going to see her tell her this suggest that. Other times I don’t get anything to the person arrives.

For those of you who have already met me you will know this to be true again I don’t keep information on people and its all given back to the sitter. For a small part in time I am allowed to connect with your love ones and I try to pass on what they want to say.

I am human I have flaws and I don’t claim to be 100% accurate someone says to me take it on trust. I trust and try to help. Now I may be wrong but aren’t we told that to love we also have to trust as well. I am getting messages for people I am not sure where. They are not I am led to believe for where I am at present which is New Zealand. that’s why I am putting them on the site this morning I have had 5 or 6 accounts which could be for anyone any where in the world but unless I pass it on I am not going to get any peace.

This is different information some could be important someone one it may help them with someone they have lost or just need reassurance part of gift is giving I am trying to give back and in turn others will do the same.
